Set New Tab To Google is a Chrome addon that sets the URL of New Tab to Google Search page. If Google Search is your preferred home page and you wished it were also your default New Tab URL, then the "Set New Tab To Google" extension should meet your needs. You can launch it by Control T shortcut.
